I think some "teamsters" of African descent. These would be dressed in cast-off European clothes. One might be a boy, others adult.
I also wonder if a suitable group of boxes & barrels, possibly moulded onto a flat piece that fits in the wagons, might be possible?

Or 'Africans', as they are often known!

Thanks for the correction. I guess technically, the Boers are African too but I guess you know what I meant.

how about some extra livestock? The oxen look excellent so more (loose) copies would definitely make for a good set

Pack horses that can be used for a wide range of eras and campaigns? Or, if specifically sticking with colonial Africa theme, either (or a combination of) British, Boer/settler, Native individuals carrying large packs or chests or pushing/aiding the wheels of the wagons.

Fredrick Schiess as depicted in the film complete with crutch , preferably hitting a Zulu with it. Brit`s carrying loads, boxes sacks, can be used with the wagons or as building barricades.

Not if you did an "historical" representation rather than a cinematic one, I should think.

Well, since no one seems to know what he looked like or what he was wearing, good luck with that!
I gather that candidates on canvas are as follows, but, of course, neither artist met Ferdinand Schiess, and I believe there are no known portraits or photographs taken from life.

Would this be a copyrighted or trademarked figure? Very confident No copyright , Conte have done it, Empress have done it and countless others have taken personalities from the film and recreated them in various scales, that is except 1/72.

I'm still going for a pack mule as bonus figure. Generic one with generic packs. This could then cover so many different things from 18th and 19th century.

Not a perfect match but should be able to add additional front piece to get ACW agon I know it's marketed as Boer war, but wouldn't be possible to add that frontpiece or any other pieces to the sprue so the wagon can be used for ACW or any other period? Or do you have plans for a separate ACW wagon set? Wagon sets are high in demand.

This thread started almost 12 months ago. It is clear from the painted examples that some very nice wagons have been created already. It would be nice to hear of an imminent release before the birthday of this thread.
