Airfix produced a range of Star Wars vehicle kits in the 80s; shame they didn't use the license to produce figures, though I don't remember what scale the ships were in.

The "Battle on Ice Planet Hoth" though in 1/144 scale I believe, sourced from MPC... I dont believe there was any 1/72 stuff though the "Millenium Falcon" said to be 1/78 might work....

I would choose either French Napoleonic imperial guard marching that would be a great set, or possibly Napoleonic Brunswick artillery as hat already make infantry & cavalry

WW2: the British 14th army. The whole commonwealth fought there!!! Arguably the best (and certainly the largest) British army in the war -- though to call it British is a misnomer since most of the troops were Indian and Gurkha volunteers, not to mention East and West African troops. We already have available figure sets of British in short pants, some Indians from WWI and WW2, and Gurkhas. Would African troops wear similar uniforms? I think so. Did anyone in 14th Army (e.g., Africans) wear the bush hat with one side looped up, Australian-style? If not, some surgery may be required, though many of the Australian figures already available do not have one side of the hat looped up anyway. Personally I would also remove the kukris from Gurkhas and use them as Africans or even British troops. All of this is assuming I would ever get to the Burma theater, which is not likely given that I started in North Africa and have been working my way through the Mediterranean for the past 50 years!

Sad that things have slowed down when some of the best sets so far are in the pipe line, like the ACW marching and command, the best ACW figures seen in a while, and the Sassanid elephant sets..I'd buy lots of them.

I will second AWI no one makes decent American war of independence figures Italeri's American infantry is wo fully lacking, well then we have Russian Grenadiers of 1805 to 07 and Jagers but lacking drummers flag bearers so Russian command set would be nice too!

Yes I also feel AWI should be next, not just one set but a whole range with militia, command, cavalry, new artillery sets and so on...

Sarmatian Cavalry I know the original was for 1 set,but I'd like 3 sets-to be honest 5 sets:) 1) Light,2 archer,1 lancer,1 multi-arm(sword,ring hand to hold draco,lance,etc,overhand ring hand for lance/spear/sword) 2) Medium, 1 scale lancer,1 scale multi-arm as above,1 mail lancer,1 mail multi-arm as above 3) Heavy,scale w/chaps lancer,1 multi-arm,mail w/chaps lancer,multi-arm
In my Hat fantasy world: A) 4 unarmored archers B) female archer,unarmored-Noble w/sword,lancer,draco bearer C) Scale:ring-hand as above,2 lancers,1 archer D) Mail:same as C E) Same as #3 above.

Pathans
Lots of them. In a big box.
All we have in plastic 1/72 is part of a box of another manufacturer's discontinued 'Muslim Warriors"
We already have great Indian Army infantry and cavalry
So a lot of possibilities would be created if we added:
- Second Afghan War British Infantry (home service trousers)
- North West Frontier late 19th century infantry (Slade Wallace equipment)
- Indian crews with screw guns
Carry On Up the Khyber!

Also in resin or metal, you can pick up all sorts of WW2 command, civilian, medical etc figures.
In plastic, HaT produced French Foot Dragoons in part of a set, and I had a feeling that someone was planning another set of them?
I'd like to see mid to late Nineteenth Century civilians.
