These look great in formation like that. Those guys with the animal heads look quite threatening when you see them all together: some of their ancient opponents must have wondered what they were up against the first time they saw them.

Yes, I liked the boxes with 48 figures because it allows you to build up an ancient army relatively fast with infantry. I always found the 12 figurs cavalry boxes a bit dissapointing, you needed to buy a lot of boxes to get a decent cavalry unit in the field 🤓
