I liked the painting and must say that I also liked your reasons for painting this regiment. For the same reasons I coose to paint the 18th Hussars (Grandfathers Regiment) the Ox 6 Bucks Light Infantry (Fathers Regiment) and the Royal Berks (County of Birth).
I was surprised that you painted the bag on the bearskins as striped, since my fist thought would be that they were a solid pink with white piping. When I get a chance I will consult the relevant page on the Seven Years War web page.

Had no reference for the grenadiers of the regiment, so lets say it's a bit of artisistic freedom.

Although more care is needed in this scale, I would like to see a Grenadier Drummer in reversed colours for your de Ligne regiment. So if you haven't done so yet, give it a try. Muscians in reversed colours always give a splash of colour to a regiment.

Nice figures! I'm waiting for release of this set. At least how many figures are needed to play simple battle using this About Bonaparte rules?

Hi Quarion,
sorry for the late response. I didn't log on for a while.
About Bonaparte use 8 figures per unit (batalion) . You can start a battle with 3 units a side, with one general and a least one officer = 26 figures a side. You can add artillery and/or cavalry.
Cheers Dirk
