Great valentines well painted & nicely based, after figure painting my second hobby is making fast build tanks they are such good value & so easy to build compared to the normal kits. I started to build the Cromwell From Airfix witch is a great kit but all those little parts they did my head in I still haven't finished it yet I had also bought another five airfix Cromwell's to go with the first. I ended up selling them all on Ebay & bought some Plastic soldier company Cromwell's instead which took about 30 mins per tank to build & you get tank commanders as well bargain.

Yep, also prefer fastbuild kits these days. Some of the long-build versions are absolutely shocking. Miniscule thin pieces that are virtually impossible to remove from the sprue without breaking. And all those tiny wheels that look really stupid unless they are perfectly aligned. Machine-guns that break in half the first time you brush against them with more than a Newton of force.
Recently bought a long-build 1/72 car for my early WW2 wargames armies. Besides being a nightmare to build, turns out the finished product is probably too fragile to use on a wargames table. Looks like it will collapse like a matchbox with the slightest pressure. Uggh.
Only problem with fastbuild is that the turret hatches on tanks often don’t open. Very nice though when they do AND when the firm has the good sense to include a driver!

I prefer the PSC kits they always include at least driver quite a few kits have a choice of commander the latest tank release is the tiger 1 & it includes 3 crew figures with open hatches also it gives 3 different build options as well. The only downside is you will need a much bigger spares box for all the extras you will be left with once you have built a few of their kits over time.
