Just received my Prussian Landwehr sets from drum & Flag & I am really impressed with them, they seem to be cast in a fairly soft blue plastic a little harder than some recent sets The figures look really clean with no flash to speak of I'm really happy with them cant wait to paint them well worth the wait thanks Hat.

Not very good value for money if the prices are kept the same, a bit like the waterloo 1815 set of marching French 1815 infantry, I didn't buy that set because it was poor value for money. Twenty figures in a 1/72 box of soldiers unbelievable. I like the numbers for the command set though that's more like it.

Brunswick artillery would be a great idea Hat already has two Brunswick infantry sets & a cavalry set (if you can find any available) so it makes sense to make the artillery as well. I think a another Brunswick leib set would be a good idea as we could do with more varied poses. The Bavarian infantry was supplemented with a fusiliers set this is always hard to find as it sells out very quickly I believe a similar Brunswick set would be just as popular.

I would be Happy with the sets as they are pictured by Hat originally they seem to be a good all round compromise, that will fill must peoples need for a good Austrian army unit, only thing maybe to change would to have back packs on as looking at the two packs pictured they are quite similar. I would keep the option of Shako, Helmet & Bearskin to provide flexibility & it would be great if you could provide enough heads to cover all the figures being assembled with the same headgear. Thanks for asking.

These are not really my era but they are really nice, like you say they don't look like the usual Ancient figures & have a timeless feel about them, good units well painted quality multi timeline army.

I would like to see the Napoleonic Austrians next and they seem to have a big following on this forum. Closely followed by the Napoleonic Russians only because the two main armies I am painting at the moment are the Russian & Austrian & they both are in need of a more recruits.

Yes Hat please do this hopefully as a priority, your loyal customers have spoken & its official it says it on the website to be remade it would be great if another word appeared at the end that's soon. Thanks again for agreeing to remake them cheers

That could be worth thinking about for the Napoleonics as well. Depends on the economics of course as price wise they would need to be competetive with the multi-part competition. They were an excellent value for money product.
British Peninsular Light Cavalry
British Peninsular Heavy Cavalry
On the main website If you go to the marching through time section scroll down to the peninsular sets it now says alongside them to be remade, that that says to me that Hat are already planning to release these sets in the one true scale hooray!

To be perfectly honest reading the above posts I also agree with Graeme & Alan when I look at my post I over reacted due to the frustration of not seeing progress with the new sets & restocks believe it or not I am a big Hat fan. I did overlook the fact that hat is very good at showing forthcoming sets & got so carried away with my criticism & forgot about the good things about Hat that we all admire so much

Guys, let's not shoot the messenger - clearly Admin can only tell what he knows/is authorised to say. While I understand the frustration, things can only move as fast as they can move. I am sure HaT is sensitive to the need to maintain a reasonable release and re-release schedule; they want to sell product and, so, must be assumed to be doing their best. Communication could be better (when couldn't it?), but that isn't really in Admin's hands. Oh, and I don't understand the idea that hobbyists will turn to another manufacturer at the cost of HaT; apart from some overlap in the case of the most popular subjects, different manufacturers tend to offer different things. I would absolutely love to know when (or if) we will next see marching chasseurs, and when the new French marching sets will hit the shelves, but it seems to me that it is beyond my meagre powers to influence the timing and, so, I may as well cultivate patience with the best grace possible! The idea of customers swapping to another manufacturer is real enough if you cant get hold of the product you need,I have stashed away a lot of sets over the years when they have become available. Last year I bought around twenty or so boxes of hat figures as & when I could get my hands on the mostly from online companies & zero HaT sets. This year the roles are reversed I managed to buy only one set of hat product Russian militia £5 from ebay second hand but invested in about twenty five boxes of the HaT SAM (Standing Attacking ,Marching) sets plus a couple of waterloo 1815 sets for good measure. I have a list of around 12 hat sets that I need & are not available anywhere, if they were it stock I would have purchased all of them & modified my HaT buys accordingly.

Yes as said before Hat makes better figures but HaT is miles in front customer care & information they (HaT) would have answered with complete list & shown a cheeky photo of a figure from a upcoming new set that had not been announced before.
I have always found HaT's release programme to be a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma
Which is, surely, half the fun?!?
I like a lot of people find it very frustrating the last time hat restocked we were waiting for ages then someone on this forum noticed them for sale @ drum & flag no word from hat whatsoever till about a week later. HaT are catching up on quality as well the Napoleonic at ease sets Are very nice even the Sprues are looking tidy & more compact.

I like the Bavarians in red white in the second picture with the sword & their hands on their hips they look their daring the enemy to have a shot at them, are these metal I really like them. Looks an interesting battle with some colourful armies on the field I would like to see more hope there's a part 2 soon

The other manufacturer is also releasing Prussian Landwehr sets probably at least three sets maybe four, better get a move on Hat if their sets are out first It will hit sales. They are also planning some nappy French sets with both line & Imperial guard sets in the pipeline its going to be a great Napoleonic new year with another manufacturer(Redbox) releasing four sets of Russians as well. I will buy your sets Hat & all the others as well because I'm a greedy so & so.

Hi Hat any chance of a full listing of the next lot of Restocks or at least a partial one The Napoleonic Austrian sets were mentioned a few months ago but nothing else for a while . This question has been brought up on this forum on a couple of threads but has been overlooked or missed & not answered so I thought I would give it its own thread as I would, like a lot of people I think like to work out the size of budget for forthcoming releases.

You have amassed some large very well painted armies , very impressive indeed there must be a few years work Involved , & you also have done a lot of research on the subject to get every detail right you have looked in to the battle a lot deeper than I ever have top notch work very informative & thanks for posting the pics. I saw the twitter pictures & the caption not just once but a few times they should be more careful its inexcusable really.

Although I have not experienced recent figures crumbling away I have had my share of the older Airfix figures falling to pieces mostly the early sets type 1 Africa korps & German infantry & also the infantry combat group seem to turn brittle with age. I read somewhere that if you put the brittle figures in car brake fluid for a while they return to normal again I have not tried this myself but would be interested if anybody has had success with the method.

Can we have a list of the restock kits on the E28B release? Hi hat the latest restocks are ready for shipping or probably on the slow boat from China on their way here, yet we still don't know witch sets will be restocked?. It would be nice to have a list of the forth coming sets so we can plan how to spend our Christmas money. I like a lot of people are waiting for the long out of stock Austrian grenadiers & grenzer sets & the near mythical Nassau infantry ,could you at least let us know if these sets will be restocked, so we can save our cash for them Or at least spend it other ready available products thanks in advance...Steve.

Just a few words to say I have managed to obtain a box of these figures after being inspired by your post, not a bad price on ebay and 100 figures in the box bargain. I have been impressed by the diversity of the troops & poses available witch might lessen the load of painting such a large number of figures at one time. I hope I can do justice to them & they turn out somewhere near as good as the figures in these photos.
