Re: this comment from Hefay from the old HaT forum "I would argue that for strict historical accuracy the marching set should be split into two separate sets - a Confederate set with the figures in waist-length shell jackets and a Union set with the figures in the mid-length sack coats. The figure with the long frock coat could be put in either set, both, or in the command set as an NCO."
Question: Would you rather have the marching set as is (mixed bodies) or as two sets (figures with shell jackets and figures with sack coats)?
I am not desperate for ACW infantry. I have fair sized armies composed of "all the usual suspects". I was going to buy some of the Strelets' sets (which are pretty nice) but I've decided I'd hold off & buy the HaT marching sets instead.
Without trying to be rude, I expect them to be nicer. The length of the wait will be more important than the actual mix of figures in the set.

Definitly two separate sets. Confederates in jackets, blanket rolls and hats.
