These look quite excellent. I really like the darker undercoating and painting style. Produces a really battle-hardened result. Is the officer's horse a Timpo, Britains or some other? Regards, James

Great work! Yes the darker undercoating for Austrians certainly works very well. Sometimes Austrians can look a little too "bright", almost looking as if they are advertising some sort of washing liquid or powder!! The detail then gets lost when like that.
The darker undercoating however allows the Austrians to still have nice white uniforms, but brings out the details on the figures better. Then a suitable wash over the top helps even more.
These figures achieve this perfectly, so well done!

It was great to get some paint on them after several months hiatus due to some creative lassitude haha. The horse is from deetails Britains I believe, with a Timpo saddle cloth.
