These are simple figures and to be honest I’m surprised at how good they look.

Beautifully done Thomas. The texturing of the camels and lines of the saddle cloths are especially impressive. You have brought the figures to life, for sure! Regards, James

I just went back and looked at all the camel contributions on this site. Thinking back the first set of camels which I had, which were the Airfix Bedouins, I’m so thankful for the first mainstream company to mold horses/camels to their base, which I think was Revell. Or maybe it was Atlantic. But at least ESCI made easy to attach bases. I had never been able to fix the Airfix Foreign Legion officer horse to its base. As I kid I always blamed my little fingers. Now I know it’s bad design and execution.

Yeah I was the same, but a small screwdriver/metal spike and a candle works wonders, the intruction I remember Airfix/Frog etc gave for joining tracks or attaching wheels in Kit instructions/tips... on the figure boxes they usually said Bostik an awfull glue which never worked and smelt worse.... I dont know why they didnt say weld them?

I tried Bostik! I still remember it was a yellow tube with a black top and a pleasant smell!
