Hi guys,
This is my first post on the forum. I'm from the East of France and 36 years old. I'm fond of nappys and I'm currently starting a Waterloo diorama. I've started the french army with Hat french line fusiliers (bought around 10 hat fusiliers boxes)and I need help and advices to build an accurate line infantry. The main problem is for voltigeurs and grenadiers. The only accurate grenadiers I found are from Italeri french infantry box but the figures are way too tall compared to hat fusiliers. Concerning the voltigeurs, the only nearly accurate ones are from Waterloo 1815 box. Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks in advance for your answers.

Frenchtom,
HaT set 8042 French Light Infantry provides Grenadiers and Voltigeurs for set 8041. The only difference is the cuffs, which can be painted over.
If you want a battalion of light infantry, you will need figures from HaT set 8041 for the centre companies.
For officers, drummers and standard bearers, you can use figures from Waterloo 1815 set AP009 Polish Infantry, though you will need to swap heads and paint over the Polish kurtka to resemble the post-1812 Bardin jacket. Like me, you may end up with several battalions of Polish infantry.
The forthcoming 1815 Marching French infantry will contain elites and centre company figures in the correct proportions, but sadly no officers, drummers or standard bearers. I am hoping that the new figures will be compatible with the Zvezda French Infantry Command set, but I also hope that HaT decides to produce 1815 French command figures.
I hope this helps.

There is certainly a need for a figure carrying an eagle in the Bardin Uniform
