The latest issue of Wargames Illustrated magazine (#370) features coverage of HaT in two articles on pages 64-67 and 82-84. The first article is an overview of wargaming with 1/72 plastics and the second is related to the magazine's monthly theme of 'America's Wars'. These are part of an ongoing series of contributions written by me for WI as they wish to expand the range of products they cover and introduce to their readers. Suggestions for other angles I may have missed are most welcome. Note that some articles are a bit behind the very latest releases because of the advanced nature of the copy deadlines. For those interested in 1/32 Scale part II of my overview article is I believe scheduled for the September Issue.

Good to see 1/72nd plastics, so often ignored, getting a spot in the press.
If this keeps up, I might even have to start buying magazines!

I echo Mr Edwardian. It makes a nice change to see the one true scale featured in the Wargaming press.
Whilst 28 mm gets the lions share of publicity the standard of the new Hat and other plastic, not to mention the metal, manufacturers are in my opinion excellent.
Keep up the good work.
Best wishes,
Chris

Great stuff, Rupert!! And thanks also for your consistently great service on eBay :-) Cheers, Andrew Andrew, Do you know that Rupert has a store called drum and flag, it offers the same great service but without the ebay charges. I highly recommend and it allows payment by paypal also. totally agree on the article in wargames illustrated its great to see this niche market get a bit more publicity. bfn Allan

Wargames Illustrated Magazine - Contributors Wanted.
As many of you will know I have been contributing articles to the magazine over the past six months or so highlighting what's available in 1/72 & 1/32 scale plastic.
There's no article from me this month but I am pleased to say having reviewed progress so far that there will be more in future issues. Even better news is that the guys at WI are keen to broaden out their coverage of plastics in these scales and feature things like painting, converting, modelling projects and wargames in these scales etc...
I know from looking at all the various forums, blogs and Facebook pages just how many talented hobbyists are out there who love 1/72 and 1/32 scale plastic figures. So if you would like to help spread the word and fancy having a go at submitting your own articles please contact Wayne Bollands, Sub-Editor at Wargames Illustrated Magazine to get the ball rolling.
