I know that your 1/32nd scale SYW Prussians were only recently re-released but I made the mistake of waiting a couple of weeks before placing my order. Now I am in the predicament that although I have the Marching and Command sets the Action Figures seems to be sold out from all the on-line sellers that I find from the Links Page of PSR. Did Hat produce as many Action sets as Marching sets, and if so why do the Action sets sell so fast in 1/32nd scale.
Best regards,
Malcolm

Read this and thought, wow, finally another set for us lovers of Ancient Figures. No set with that name exists. Then I look at the HaT homepage and see... it's the already released Gallic Warband. Ah well. Can't expect HaT to produce much that doesn't involve Napoleonics...

What else do they need to make for them that hasn't already been made. There is so much variation in the Napoleonic Period that it deserves more attention, not excluding the fact that it is also the most popular period

What else do they need to make for them that hasn't already been made. There is so much variation in the Napoleonic Period that it deserves more attention, not excluding the fact that it is also the most popular period Lets see... the Ancient Period stretches over how long, compared to the Napoleonic one? If I am not wrong, one can be measured in centuries, and one in less than 25 years (and I am being gracious). Surely if you want ancient people to make conversions, you could make those too. Honestly if the Napoleonic "variation" is one where it is important to have guys standing at attention, and marching, as well as attacking... surely a few more ancient sets wouldn't be far off. Where do you get Sumerian (of the type that is used for commanding units or.. ) "officers". Or even Assyrian ones? Honestly Napoleonic collectors have been spoiled. It used to be that collectors from all time periods could agree that a balanced approach (or at least one that was semi balanced) should be adhered to. Instead we now have a competition over whose period is more important. Excluding some collectors/painters/fans over others. Luckily other brands have chosen not to be the ones that pander to the "majority" (if it is that... I see not proof of that, just a forum that in general is populated with Nappie fans).

That's because this thread is about restocks. But if you go to the "Which new sets do you want from this list" thread (link below) you can vote for Gaul light infantry, Gaul medium infantry, and Gaul heavy infantry. I did and I'm a Nappy fan. There's a few other Ancient sets on the list too. hat.freeforums.net/thread/194/suggest-which-new-set-listThe last time Brian did a count it looked like Napoleonic Russians and Austrians were in the lead followed by ARW sets.

It may not be much comfort but I imagine the French Infantry 8095 will be coming up soon; HaT's pretty good at re-stocking and re-running sets. But the blessing - and the curse - is there are over 300 sets they have to cycle through, plus NEW sets in the pipeline. If the French are out of stock it's a matter of time until their turn comes and are brought back out. I know HaT DOES pay attention to demand; your request will assist in getting 8095 moved up in the queue.

Need the 8279 - Napoleonic Mounted Officers set... these have seemed like vapor-ware, I haven't found them in-stock anywhere, ever.
What's the ETA on this particular set of re-prints?

Hello Steve W. I just happen to be one set short of Hat 8095 to complete the Army of Italy. As I live in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, I am quite willing to pay for shipping and handling; in addition,I just may have something in the Great Unorganized Unpainted Reserve for which you might want to trade, depending on the historical period that you wargame.
