Accounting for 3-4% production plastic shrinkage: (Also requesting plastic production color in this thread) 8221 Arditi 8222 Italian Heavy Weapons 8223 Italian Infantry Edit: The big figure is a mistake and not meant to be used for sizing.

A wise man used to be fond of saying (and might still say it but I haven't heard from him in awhile so...) the size of the figure itself isn't so important (within reason) after all, folks don't come in exactly the same size - it's the weapons that matter - if you have two guys perhaps a head apart but their rifles (provided the same model) match you're good.

Sorry, but I don´t share your opinion that size doesn´t matter. All presented new figures are too big - not only 3-4% more than 15-25 %. I wouldn´t buy none of them because they don´t suit to most of the other soldiers.

I Think they should be as tall as the newer set about the WW1 and not like the old type sets (the Austrians) that you used in the photos as comparison. And remember that Italian folks wasen't much higher. But I prefer to have all sets with the same higher. For the color of the final figs I prefer a medium green. Ciao!

Too big. Height difference, while real, does not look good in miniatures, just take a look at the Emhar WW1 Brits, heights all over the place.
Make them the same size as the rest, stop scale creeping, else it'll be another Peninsular Dragoons incident.

I am very excited for these sets to come out. I would buy the 8221 Arditi and 8222 Italian Heavy Weapons as shown. However I would reduce the 8223 Italian Infantry size by about 6%. Color is not a concern for me.

These figures need to be similar size to the Austrians not noticably bigger. Green or grey plastic would be preferable.

too big we don't make the mistake of waterloo 1815 which makes Italian toy soldiers with a height of 1.85 while the average height of the Italian soldier was 1.62 / 1.65 in great war
