Very nice from what can be seen with the medium used.
Aspen Essling May well be back on track depending on production times.
Best wishes,
Chris

The new figs are taller than current HaT even allowing for the thicker stands on some of those current figures. Note the boots on the ground lower than current Austrian figs and the nose is higher on the prototype to gauge height not using the hat/helmet.

hope the 3% is enough. Isn't that around .75 of a mm for a '25' figure. Less so if its a 23-24mm fig. I have alot of the 'other' helmeted Austrians and those are a tad taller. In any event I could add a new corps to my Austrian army.

I thought it would be useful to get my own measurements from the figures being compared so measuring from the sole of the foot to top of the head (usually half way up the shako) I make the Grenzer 8204 (yellow figure) 24 mm and the Line Infantry (brown figure) 22.5, I would prefer Hat to match the new Austrians (white figures) with the Grenzer (yellow figure) as the Line Infantry (brown figure) seems to be on the small side.
So the new Austrian Infantry should be 24.75mm at this stage which would mean with a 3% shrinkage the final production figure would also be 24mm, looking at these test shots they seem to me to be about right hard to tell for sure but I now trust Hat have acquired the experience to get this tricky stage correct.
