Any new thoughts on more artillery sets? Also some generic rough looking wagons (cargo box boxed in with slat or round wood) or maybe a large barrel for water. The Russian sets need alot of upgrading to match whats available now esp their Artillery. France needs
a good 3 gun foot battery section with 5 crew each and an upgrade of the French horse artillery. Also American Infantry and cavalry and gunners for the 1812-1815 battles. Good stuff....keeping me busy....

Hard to see the Zvezda Russian and French artillery sets being bettered. So more Prussian would be good.

Marc, the Zvezda French artillery set has the pre-Bardin reform uniform. There's still really nothing for the 1813-1815 period.

Its extremely hard now to find the French artillery or regular Russian artillery. It appears Zvezda is not producing those just the hard plastic figures and guns... tho the Russian Guard artillery can still be found. At this moment there is no French(except for the pre-1805)artillery other than that early one and the Horse Artillery.

I agree that there is scope for a number of Napoleonic artillery sets. Specifically, I think the following ones would be very popular and fill some significant gaps left, either by good sets no longer in production, or by sets that are now old and could do with being re-modelled:
French line foot artillery, campaign dress, for the 1813-15 period
Prussian foot artillery, campaign dress, for the 1813-15 period (but useable for a few years prior to this as well)
British/KGL Horse artillery for later Napoleonic period (6 pounder guns and howitzer option). Perhaps likewise for British/KGL Foot artillery (9 pounder guns). with head options for stovepipe or Belgic shakos. The Airfix RHA set was great for its time, but is now long out of production, and the sculpting (especially of the guns) looks very dated.
and:
A re-make of the HaT Russian foot artillery set, with headgear swap options
A re-make of the HaT French line horse artillery set
The Zvezda sets establish a great benchmark for the hobby in terms of format, sculpting and production. The more recent HaT sets are also very good, although personally I'd have one less gun and replace it with a limber.
Despite their quality, the Zvezda French and Russian line Napoleonic sets are still not perfect however - French in mid-period full dress uniforms, the Russian Foot artillery set wearing full packs and rolled greatcoats(!). For British/KGL Foot artillery the Revell set was excellent but out of production now for many years.
A format of 3 guns (with interchangeable barrels for different calibres) and a limber or two, plus crews for all, plus teams for the limber(s) seems ideal, priced in the £8-£10 range for the set.
This all represents quite a lot of new sets(!) but I do think that they would all sell well.

It would be great to see some Napoleonic Artillery in 1/32 too! As there are only French and British available on the market, I wonder if ever any other Artillery was produced in the past in plastic?

I will admit to having been spoiled by Hinchliffe Napoleonic artillery early in my miniatures life.
That said, what I want is:
Accurately detailed guns Accurately uniformed and realistically posed crew
It would be nice to have a limber with ready ammunition.
I'm a wargamer, so having a full limber with horses, drivers, etc. is not of much interest to me. I understand others want such a thing, but perhaps it could be a separate kit.
