Great job! I particularly like how you used a brownish wash (?) to denote field wear and the dirt accumulated thereof. IMHO it not only shows realism but also highlights the great detailing of the figures. Kudos!

Yes I used the big pot of Vallejo Brown (lavada wash) its around 8 euro's but you can use it for a while. I use it on all my figures also to make the whites less white and makes them indeed look more worn and realistic :-) Vallejo also has this wash in black..I use it less often though.

Nice looking soldiers! I don't like this high contrast on faces but it's personal preference. Great scenery, especially this stone wall. What is that grass mat on which you deploy them?

Thank you for the honnest feedback Quarion! I can see your point in that! On the picture they also look less good (more contrast than in real life), yet I myself am also less convinced about these faces then with my last Napoleonics for example..l will keep working on it ;-) always trying out things :-)
