Before "this Christmas" (better to specify ๐) is nevertheless quite a vague exspression, it may say few weeks, like three months (more or less), remember we're only on 26th september today! I hope Hat will not make us wait until 24th december!! I'm no more a little child (unfortunately), I don't need to wait Santa ๐
to bring me my boxes...๐๐

My own take is I appreciate HaT for reassuring us. At the same time with all the current problems with a worldwide pandemic and the stress on international trade that has resulted I would not expect HaT to be any more precise. There is so much that could go wrong shipping product from China and one reads and hears of entire ships being held up under all the precautions being held up even now. At the same time I received a text message from a major 1/32 producer based in Asia who also produces in China who has apologized for having to change his ordering process because of restrictions in shipping.
If HaT was to give us a precise date based on the current situation would be to risk having an new outbreak somewhere (and as I am typing this I am reading warnings to brace for that) which could further disrupt the chain and any prognostication would be wrong. Then we would have accusations of being lied to.
This is a tough environment on all of us. As I shared elsewhere, I am even now recovering from my bout with the virus. I am looking forward to having these sets by the end of the year and I know from twenty-five or so years of dealing with HaT everything is being done behind the scenes to get us our sets.
Thanks for the update.

Hannants have added a massage to their home page. "The new Hat Industrie figure sets have been delayed until early October". I think this encouraging news as I am really looking forward to the new Hat British Dragoons and the ten year wait for the Austrians is almost at a end.

They've emailed me to say that my crowdfunded dragoons are expected 'shortly'.

I haven't received a notice. I'm not worried about it though - hearing others, figure I'll get mine when you do.

Despite the expectations for the beginning/mid october, these sets seem to be still unavailable at any dealer by now, I hope they'll reach us here in Europe for the end of this months, but anyway I feel strange that neither in Northern America there is no evidence of them... ๐

Shops in the UK are starting to show stock Drum and Flag have pictures of sprues. Austrians sets in Yellowy Cream, ACW sets Mid Blue both appear to be very good. Also British Dragoons in Bright Red available.
