Drop the duplicate figure. I like the shako option. Molded on backpacks are fine as well.

Well - input has been requested so I will put the needle back on my well-worn record - I would love a set of 1/32 Austrians but I will not buy these if they have any parts to stick on - my experience with doing this has been poor and I disagree that they look better that way.

Hi - great to see 1/32nd Austrians back in the pipeline - the separate hats better as they give more scope as a head gear transforms a figure in a simple yet striking way. Better to have 5 figures plus the extra shakos/bearskins/helmets. Having the plug on hats is quickest and saves lots of time doing conversion pinning and filling etc... There are many more 1/32nd sets on the market these days and I cant keep up obtaining them all, but the demand is high so its good that hat are back in the ring and I will definitely buy these Austrians (I would like to see hat make some more Napoleonic cavalry one day new moulds not upscaled 1/72nd and some battle of Waterloo period 1815 British and French ), Cheers Dave - ps Glad to hear from Fish his conversions are superb a really talented artist!

I heartily agree with Dave Morris about giving some encouragement to HAT to venture into providing some Napoleonic cavalry in 1:32. Given what they have already designed and produced in 1:72 to do just that very comprehensively.
But we are still waiting for some confirmation from the 1:32 design teams about where we stand with 1:32 projects which are hopefully a bit closer to realisation. It has been a couple of months since we have heard anything about the SYW crowdfunded sets. The last reported update in early July said they were working on the command set with some slight modifications on sizing on the other two sets which we understood were almost complete. Can we please get an update HAT where things stand and when we can see them issued to those of us who stumped up the funding nearly three years ago?
In addition it would be good to hear where things are with the 1:32 Napoleonic Austrians which we understand will follow shortly thereafter.

Good news!! But I hope this will not be a matter for further delaying the issue of the sets 1:72 ACW and Austrians that we are waiting for longtime...

It is now time to make a decision on these 2 sets as the tool maker is ready for them.

Thanks for the update Production Crew. Is that a HAT decision you are talking about given all the input from us in previous strings about heads on or off and the figures in the test shots? Or do you need some further input from us about the immediate choices you face going into tooling. Perhaps you could give us what conclusions you are now reaching based upon all the evidence feedback from us has provided.

If the production crew could please remind us; is the option of changeable hats (like Prussian 7 year war sets) possible or not?
And if so, how many hats can fit on a spru with; A. backpacks molded on & 6 figures per spru B. Backpacks molded on & 5 figures per spru C. separate backpacks & 6 figures per spru C. Separate backpacks & 5 figures per spru
Thank you

I've only just become aware of these lovely 1/32nd HaT SYW figures so am quite behind on their progress so wondered if I could ask a few questions please.
1 Hasthe Kickstarter project finished or can we still join in? 2 Will the Austrians only be available to those who have supported the KICKSTARTER or will we be able to buy from suppliers like we can the Prussian? (I'm having my first SYW Prussians for Christmas!!!!) 3 Any release date yet?
Thanks

6 with shako, easier to remove than the helmet which has concave undercuts. I'm ok with molded on backpacks as well.
