Agreed about the 1815 French Marching set. I dont think the French Middle Guard Fusilier set has been around much either. Nassau infantry has become scarce also. Then there is the 1/72 Prussian Landwehr sets.
Also I dont think I have seen the Russian Militia set for a long long long time!!
But as I said before, glad to see the Peninsular British are on the list.

Dear Hat, Thank you for advising us of the list. There is a good looking mix there. It is wonderful to see the new 1/32 Austrian command on the list as well as the Prussian landwehr, along with the 1/72 1805 French Grenadiers/Volt and Peninsular British Infantry. As Roger and Steve have noted, it is a little surprising that more 1/72 Napoleonics are not there, nor 8111 WWI Canadian infantry (these latter being the best available in 1/72 for all British/Commonwealth), given the number of requests that I recall there being for these. Mind you, I appreciate that it is tough to please everyone and you have clearly tried to get a healthy mix in the two scales and sets along with some newbies. I'll just have to wait a bit longer for 1/72 Russian Militia and various other Napoleonic sets; not to mention the other, coming Austrian sets in both scales!  Is there an estimated release time at this stage— in weeks or months? By the middle of the year, perhaps (naturally with flex around current uncertainties)? Regards, James |

I am glad about the forthcoming restocks, but I can't help thinking hat are missing out on a lot of sales by not including the Russian militia & Nassau infantry. The Russian militia is up for £35 a box or 1 sprue for £10 on ebay & the Nassau set is retailing for £20. I read somewhere that the militia set has been discontinued is there any truth in the rumour.  |

I’m looking at their website right now. The set above Russian Milita 8099 is 8098 and that set says “discontinued” but it doesn’t say that for 8099.

Yep the discontinued set is just the big box of British Marines & Sailors etc.
The figures have been divided into 2 individual sets of the Marines/Sailors & guns & crew so technically the figures themselves havent been discontinued, merely altered in terms of how they are sold.
I really hope the Russian Militia set hasnt been discontinued. I too noticed Nassau infantry being sold for silly money on ebay again.

8098 Napoleonic British Sailors and Marines (discontinued) is continued as seperate sets I do believe: 8311 Nap. Naval Cannon and Crew 8325 British Marines and Sailors
I think Hät consider the Russian Militia to be one of their best sets so think its unlikely its been discontinued...

Linear-A is not my preferred supplier for ancient sets but at least they do manufacture ancient themed sets on some kind of regular basis. we have been waiting for more then a year (at least) for progress on the Byzantines, Greek hoplites, Sassanid cataphracts and elephants not to mention Pyrric elephants and Carthaginian veterans.
