I recently bought a gatehouse & some walls for a walled town from Anyscale. They complement other structures to make quite a nice, table-edged walled town. It should appear in my upcoming SYW game of Reichenberg but will also suit as a background to the mighty Covenanters fighting their wily Montrose-led foes. donald

All looks very good donald, and those walls are quite sturdy by the looks of things; certainly capable of withstanding anything much smaller than a Cannon or Cannon Royale for a fair number of game moves I imagine. Bring on the siege train!

Thank you. Have you run a siege wargame? I haven't, though I do have a set of workable rules from the great Henry Hyde. One of my pals built this Vauban fort: and I'm minded to give them a try....though you do need to build all sorts of trenches & would need some serious siege artillery. donald

Nice fortification should keep the pesky Scots out.

Are there any more pictures of this wonderful fort?

Are there any more pictures of this wonderful fort? Although bought primarily for my ECW games in Scotland, my thoughts lie to using this fortification over several centuries.
So, a SYW game, due soon will feature it as part of a walled Bohemian town. I'll be sure to post some photos of the game.

Dear Donald, That's an absolute beauty. Worth mortgaging the house for, I reckon! Regards, James p.s. Steve, I had a hearty laugh at your comment. Donald decided to 'play a straight bat' to it?!

Some nice walls; such structures are great - they are so versatile for centuries of scenarios. Nice work.
