I send you some pics of my recently finished set of Roman cavalry. As usual the accuracy and quality of this Hät set is excellent and a joy to paint. During the ages of the Imperial Roman era the cornerstone of its military might were the legions with the heavy legionaries and the auxiliary infantry and cavalry units. Especially the cavalry was important because the Romans themselves had few horsemen skills (in the Republican legion only noblemen could afford fighting on horseback). When more and more countries were (involuntary) incorporated in the empire enlisting skilled cavalrymen for proper pay was beneficial to both the army and the conquered people. The specialization in the Roman army improved its strength and the enlisted men become Roman citizens with a soldier's pension after serving in the army for many years. Kind regards, MAnovski(c)productions
