the figures are beautiful but the guns should be horizon blue.

Hi. There is a TMP discussion about this but the links are down. Photo research would indicate that the early 75's were a light ' artillery grey' rather than horizon blue.
It would seem that olive and camouflage were a later development in the war.
Best wishes,
Chris

you're right, there are several color variants especially at the beginning of the war.

Was artillery included in the units that the French sent to the Hejaz to support the Sherifian rebellion? (Of course, they would not have worn these early-war uniforms, would they have?)

As far as I'm aware mountain guns + crews were supplied and crewed by the French, though its been a while since I looked this up... I dont see a problem with the uniform per se though they may need sun helmets? I dont recall any specific details on their use though... 3 guns of the 8th Regiment took part in the attack on Koum Kaleh* during the attack at the Dardanelles, these supported Senegalese (who previously fought at Ypres and Dixmund) and Chausseur d'Afrique.. mostly this force comprised troops originally from the French Army of Africa including FFL.... the French are almost totally ignored in this campaign... *Reference " Uncensored letters from the Dardanelles"
