Something a bit different and very nicely done, I like this a lot.
I couldn't zoom the wide angle shot much though so I wouldn't mind seeing some close ups of the various elements.

They look even better in close up. I love the shields and animal skins and the chariots are fantastic.

They're an unusual lot but took far too long to produce. They could be very useful for things like fantasy/sci-fi and imaginary colonial wars as without the chariots they don't immediately bring 'ancient' to mind.

These are not really my era but they are really nice, like you say they don't look like the usual Ancient figures & have a timeless feel about them, good units well painted quality multi timeline army.

Multi-purpose is the way to go, saves the bother of putting together all those armies

Very original subject, and top quality painting, I like them a lot. Not easy to find documentation about kushites, can you please tell what you used, book, illustrations.. ?

Cheers. Only sources were Google and DBM book I army lists . The most valuable information found as an aid to reproducing the army were a couple of illustrations of contemporary wall paintings. These showed what I took to be the typical appearance of Kushites, no animal skins in evidence (I take it from this that the Caesar figures are Nubians rather than Kushites). There are a fair few modern interpretations which are useful for colour schemes. The Kushites hailed from a distinct part of Nubia, spoke a distinctive language and had a capital at Meroƫ and were around from the 8th century BC to the 4th century AD.

Thank you jock52. I only found illustrations of two Kushite warriors in "The armies of ancient Near East" (WRG publications), a bit short ! Seemed that their clothes and equipment looked like a mix of Nubians and Egyptians, nothing unexpected, but more sources would have been welcome
