Excellent news, Mr Designteam. By the way, I see you are noted as a "new member", as am I. What determines that? I've been posting on Hat for a number of years, certainly before the switch to this forum, and for a while on the previous one.

It's the number of posts made, set by default by ProBoards. I'm not sure what the levels are.

Apparently 40 is enough to be labeled a "junior" member, as that is what I am now.

Richard - do you object to the suggestions already made?

No objections. Original masters all look great. Would be happy to see any of them come out in some form. I think they'd be best to start simple and I don't think MAC is required (regardless of how well the concept works with the naps sets). Although if they did release MAC format, I'd be pleased with that as well. Basically, I'd just like to see these come into fruition in any form...! I do enjoy reading other people's thoughts on how this period could be represented though.
I'd like to see grenadiers and regular continentals released first and think that would be a good start as grenadier companies were often moved from their regiments to form elite units with the light companies and they seem to have endured significantly more campaigns then the regular infantry. And the grenadiers with bearskins do look fantastic. Regular continentals would be great as Italeri's efforts were so bad...Accurate/Revell did a great job portraying British regulars and American militia so these can be left until after grenadiers and continentals. Just my opinion anyway!

Hi, I agree and that is why I suggest we call the box British Elites i.e. grenadiers and lights. The American equivalent box would be the militia/Continentals in civilian uniforms. Then both regular infantry boxes then the cavalry legion type box and the artillery. We could have either a dedicated command box and or a Command sprue in each infantry set. Your thoughts? Kind regards and stay safe. CPN

Both ideas sound reasonable - I would particularly like to see a 'militia' box come out first.

Some super pics of some great figures. I am particularly impressed with your conversions. Talk about "making do..." But I agree, the new ARW figures are much anticipated.

I am really just replying to the post of CPN on the 4th of April. I would like to say how much your conversions have moved me into taking up my brush with my own AWI troops. These were my first conversions, producing Lazun´s Legion both mounted and on foot from what was available at the time. I also produced British Light Dragoons well before Italeri and in 1/72nd scale. I am adding a 2nd regiment of Scots in Highland Dress from the RedBox figures that include a Grenadier. I wish to implore Hat that if and when they do release these figures in whatever format: Army Box, Regulars and Lights etc. that they are produced in a compatible 23-24 mm size and not in that ridiculous "scale" chosen for their SYW sets that are only compatible with other SYW sets,ITALERIE bRITISH LIGHT DRAGOONS AND WATERLOO ROBERTS RANGERS.

Hi, I agree, let´s keep up the pushin´ until AWI is finally materialized adequately :-). CPN is doing a good job to keep up all that for years, THANKS BUDDY! So far, I also convert HäT and others into what I would really like as some original from HäT with its great-looking masters!!!!!!!!!! That would save soooooooo much time instead of always converting these minis. I´ll try to attach some pictures of my latest units I am trying to create form HäT Nappis and others - CPN motivated me with his pictures.

I’m a new member to the thread and this hobby I have two sets of Prussians action posises and one set of them marching and then one set of command as well as the barvarins with the same amount. Looking for people down to talk about this new hobby let me know also any cool table top game ideas would be nice like I do the standard dice roll but any add on ideas or even other ways of playing would be lovey to hear thanks

Well your Prussians can represent Brunswickers, 4 normal line regiments with the four combined Grenadiers in a separate unit plus a regiment of light infantry with their accompanying company of Jaegers and finally a regiment of dismounted Dragoons. Alternatively there were also quite a few Hessian regiments to choose from. Welcome to the forum and good luck.

I wasn't fond of all the poses in their Washington's Army but for years they were all we had. You have done these stalwarts proud. Excellent job, sir. I would love to see what you could do with a new set. I'd also love to get my brush on them myself.
Thanks for sharing these great shots.
