How is the schedule for the release of the ancient sets in the pipeline? Especially the missing Sassanid sets?
Are there still plans for this sets?
And how about the other ancient sets? Carthaginian? Hoplites? ...?

waiting more then 10 years for the announced sets is very frustrating.
I' on the edge, giving up for waiting, and concentrate on other nice and sooner available ancient sets from other manufacturers.

Everyone has his periods and favourite sets that would like to see realised... "as soon as possible"; but with Hät we have learned that need to be very patient and wait, wait... But at the end usually you are rewarded of all your patience, like recently with sets just issued few weeks ago. Of course ten years is really a very long time. On my own, I hope Hät will put hand soon to the very original set of byzantine infantry, that seems to have completely forgotten; is a very unusual subject that surely collectors will greatly appreciate, for a period very poorly covered by other manufacturers (only Orion has done something, with good sculpting but awful mould unfortunately, with figures badly full of flash). Hope that Hät will listen requests from his supporters and clients, moreover with one or possibly two news sets for ACW, full of action. Regards.

An ACW Action set would be a dream come true, Too go with the excellent marching sets. (Which are the best sculpts on the market). Thanks Hat !

I understand folks' angst about the delays and times involved with some of these sets; but many of us who have been with HaT a long time (I know I remember their first sets in 1995!? Where's the time gone?) know the company has been through a great deal of turmoil and transition on just about every front. It has been a long road back. Now, we see HaT dealing with a new production team in a completely different continent a half a world away. To add to this, they are dealing with a new way of producing figures which I think, if we are patient, may revolutionize the hobby and how our guys are made. I am thinking we are about to see some amazing things from our old friends at HaT.
It's a matter of patience. Who knows? One day I might even eventually see my much sought-after Pommeranian Piccolo Players.

I agree, and as a collector, not only interested in 1:72, I have to say that Hät seems to be doing a good work especially on sets in 1:32, apart the excellent sculpting of the figures, the idea to provide separate arms and accessories to attach to the soldier with glue is absolutely fine and permit to avoid those annoying full plastic spaces between body and arms of the figures (in italian we call them "sottosquadra", in english I don't know)that are completely innatural and not nice to see. The only solution is to cast separately arms and to glue them to the figure, like Britains did in the far 70's with his superb Deetail figures. Not a revolutionary choice by Hät finally, but an attention for quality and for a more natural appearence of figures. Hope to see the results of this very accurate work very soon.

Dear Savola,
"Sottosquadra" now adopted into English (me Aussie version, at least). What a brilliant, descriptive, onomatopoeiac word!
