When I was looking at the gallery for the prussian artillery there were photos showing conversion of these figures into Brunswick with the plumes on their shakos. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make this conversion with the plumes on the shakos?
Thanks

For the horse artillery battery, it's best to use the Airfix RHA (hard to get these days, I know) with heads swapped from the Brunswick Lieb Infantry set.
8007 Prussian artillery works for the foot battery with the spare heads with shakos from the Brunswick Lieb set.
Excluding the difference in the plumes, the difference is overalls and one crossbelt for the horse, and gaiters and two crossbelts for the foot.

You can alternatively use 3 of the poses from the Hat British Rocket Troop set, with Brunswick horsehair plum head swaps: the chap holding a rocket is easy enough to convert so he holds a rammer instead...

hi - I converted the 54mm Armies in Plastic Royal Horse Artillery Waterloo 1815 into Brunswick Horse Artillery, was just a simple swap to a Brunswick shako plus a horse hair plume made from fibre or you could fashion it with modelling putty the rest is a paint job to suit

In addition to the Airfix kit, the ESCI RHA is also useful to convert to Brunswick foot artillery: bennosfiguresforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13517&p=155281#p155281

Neither the Brunswick horse or foot artillery had them. Funnily enough its the same reason why the Esci/Italeri set isnt quite right for the British Royal Horse Artillery anyway! Despite being quite old now, the Airfix set is still the best representation. So if definately converting plastics, i would keep eyes out for the Airfix set. Failing that, and if not too concerned about being metal and slightly smaller as in actual 20mm scale, Newline Designs do both Foot and Horse Artillery crews.
