Look at it like Christmas! One year I found where my folks stashed the Christmas presents. One of the worst Christmases of my childhood (I had started to say "life" but thinking about some I've spent since turning adult I changed my mind). All the thrill of the surprise was gone. It was the last time I snooped.
All I can say is - yes, there have been some boo-boos along the way; but if you look at it over the long haul HaT has a proven record of providing product of consistently high quality. And to be fair, after the FUBAR of the Dragoons I take some comfort in the fact they are taking a bit longer to produce this set - I can take it that there is extra care being taken to get these sets RIGHT. I am deeply invested in the Prussians (for me, at least - I had all the money I had pledged to the cancelled 1/32 sets turned over to the Prussians) - so, as eager as I am to get them into my hot, sweaty, hands I am willing to wait longer to get excellent figures, properly realized and the right size than to get a bunch of giants or dwarfs - or worse something out of the background of "Lord of the Rings." From what I've seen - and the trouble HaT is going through to get these sets right. I think they will be well worth the wait. And we will be grateful they went to the trouble.
As far as word - it's tough when there's really nothing new to report or hear. I can only imagine the frustration of being caught in between us wanting news - and the factory, not giving any.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned "Sea Peoples" as HaT's all-time worst set (due to a total screw-up factory, if I remember correctly) - so bad they make great fantasy trolls. But considering all the joy I've received from all the other HaT sets I've bought and painted over the years I can forgive (LOL).
Many have mentioned many of my favorite sets - it is difficult for me to pick just ONE - but neck and neck in contention are the aforementioned Peninsular Brits, Nassau Infantry, MAC Prussians, and the El Cid range. Boy I could go on. There are some that I still have great affection for even though they're a bit stylized. I like the Russian Militia and the 1812 French Line and Elites (again, wasn't fond of that style, but these guys had a charm of their own IMHO).
A tip of the hat... (Sometimes I can't help myself...)

Like any new home it'll take some getting used to; but I think folks might like it better than Reddit - once they jump through all the hoops to get here.
