These are pics of my late medium Roman cavalry, I consider them to be Bucellarii (biscuit-eaters). They were private horse armies of powerful generals in the Roman army. The best trained and equipped cavalry units at the time and functioning as a sort of bodyguard. Belisarius (a successful Byzantine general) had 7000 bucellarii. Stilicho and Flavius Aetius, West Roman generals also commanded such cavalry units. They fought and won many battles in all the corners of the late Roman empire. Regards, MAnovski(c)productions
