Great news. I hope it will be available soon. An idea for the future: what about doing a 1/32 version of the 1/72 napoleonic spanish kits already existing ?

Amazing to see an update on the 1/32 Austrians! To be honest I never thought to see this day come! As the long lasting silence on this forum was frightening! I thought it was the end of Hats (1/32) story! I am really happy to see an update from your side! The figures look great and the headgear options look great!
in regards of the digital masters.. One thing that in my opinion needs to be looked at however is the cartridge box which is far too big. It’s now nearly the size of the backpack. If you like I can sent some pictures from figures from other manufacturers that got the scale right.
Best regards, Stan

Does the continuation of the production of the hat Austrians also mean there is hope for the pre bardin French line infantry? That would be amazing too!

Hat, it is good to see your interest in resurrecting the 1:32 Napoleonic Austrians again. Many of us thought your interest in 1:32 or indeed even 1:72 might have gone for good. In terms of the specifications for this set - there were some lengthy exchanges a few years back around the composition of the sprues to allow for the three types of headgear - backpacks on or off the figures - and numbers of figures on each sprue and in total in sets. I for one would like to see the maximum options on headgear to allow all figures in the box having the option to be all helmet, bearskin or shako - even if this means say fifteen or sixteen figures in the box rather than eighteen. The command set for Napoleonic Austrians for me didn't allow enough flexibility in this respect. I seem to remember having a better experience with interchangeable headgear with the Seven Years War Prussians in this respect. I suspect we might all have to re-state the same opinions voiced in past postings once again now unless you can have a look again at these earlier posts.

Maybe there's still hope for the Pommeranian Piccolo Players.

So happy to hear that these long sought sets are not dead!
Thank you Hat for trying to do them after what I am sure has been very challenging global supply chain conditions.
If it takes 3 sets to do these right (with separate backpacks & multiple hat options) then that is fine by me.
Any possibility that there could be room on a 4 figure spru for some Austrian Jager (Korsehut) hats?

Any chance some of the partly-developed 28mm figures could be produced? HaT designed a good set of El Cid figures, but the Spanish light and heavy cavalry never were made. This period is getting popular, with rules such as Baron's War applicable to this era, and completing this set would result in more sales, I believe. I certainly would buy some.

I too would like more 28mm sets for the Black Powder periods and hope to see the ones on their list of "in development" sets finish as well.
That being said, part of me would love for them to also do 15mm plastic sets, though I don't know hoe viable that is using soft plastics (though I do prefer the hard plastic they use for their 28mm sets, soft plastic just isn't a great material to work with).

Have been waiting for ages to see these come out! And I do not mind the boxes having less men to accommodate more options. I will just buy more boxes! 10 at 18 men/box, or more if less men per box!
Next item up: Austrian artillery crew! The other nations are either around or easily converted by changing head gear.... The Austrians are rather unique!
