Great painting such expressive faces every detail picked out I need to get some of these figures never really noticed them before but you have brought them to life with skilled painting wow.  |

Very good looking figures. The faces and beards are great and there's a really nice balance of light and shade on the uniforms.
They are all fine looking troops, rustic but dignified. But I think my favourite pic is the one of the guys in the mixed coloured coats and fur caps.

Just a few words to say I have managed to obtain a box of these figures after being inspired by your post, not a bad price on ebay and 100 figures in the box bargain. I have been impressed by the diversity of the troops & poses available witch might lessen the load of painting such a large number of figures at one time. I hope I can do justice to them & they turn out somewhere near as good as the figures in these photos.  |
