My Goodness.
This appears to be set #8297, 1808-1812 French Command!
Does the appearance of a painted set betoken imminent release?
Beautifully painted, and well-sculpted, these are really attractive, useful and practical poses.
With these and the marching set, we can finally roll out the Big Battalions of the mid-Imperial Glory Days.
I am absolutely thrilled to see these.
We can really game in the Grand Manner with these!
Thank you.

These look really good, fantastic painting too can't wait until these are released you can't have enough French infantry. Now all we need is to be able to buy the sets in the shops & everybody will be happy

Dear all,
I think that what I saw on this session is simply great. A question arises consequently: why Hat Adm. make us dream and suffer by showing something already existing, but not yet realeased on the market?

Giovanni.

Hi, great figures. On Jan 20 2017 Hat stated on twitter that set 8234,8294,8296 and 8297 were in the queue to be released. They also stated that the 1815 command set had been lost. I took a screen shot of that info which I still have. The French post 1812 will be VERY popular I think as will the greatcoated elites. That post mentions Prussian limbers etc and Brunswick infantry also being in development. Hopefully exciting times ahead for us Napoleonic fans.

Great painting Marcin the black lining technique really works well was this done with fine liner pen or painted?
One more question are the figures in genuine 1/72 (23-24mm) scale? After the problems with the Peninsular British Light and Heavy Cavalry being 28mm I thought someone should ask.

And will they be in hard or "rubber" plastic? Thank you. Santi. All the new runs will be done in a harder plastic. The only softer plastic seem to be from runs years ago.

I just leave tiny black line of the black primer when I paint basic colour. I think it is possible when you paint 10-20 figures, but if you have 100's it is so boring and took too much time.

Hi Marcin, I understand your black lining technique I find it very hard to master myself which makes your painting even more impressive, the black lining done with fine liner pen I refer to I saw done by a guy on Benno's Forum, I am thinking of giving it a try as it maybe easier and quicker. bennosfiguresforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=18950&start=180
