Hi 1/72 enthusiasts, I'm a huge Hat collector of Napoleonic era. I have an old set of Thierry la Fronde 1/72 figures and have no idea who manufactured them. I hope someone is able to shed some light on this mystery.

Take a look at the Plasticsoldierreview.com in the Features section. The very rare set is described there.
Best regards,
Malcolm

Copyright ORTF "Office de Radiodiffusion-Télévision Française", probably actually manufactured by one of the many plastic injection moulding companys then in France, never heard of anyone actually owning up to it though...

It has some value, the only set I have ever seen sold on ebay for £300 plus about ten years ago. I suspect Airfix played some part in it the figures and box bare striking similarities to their range at the time, and if not Airfix who ever did make them ,made them to look like Airfix.

Have you every heard of "Baravelli" basically they more or less copied the Airfix "Blue box" style the figures were "Giant" some of them knock offs of Airfix figures and of course reduced versions of Marx... More recently Hät produced there own Version of this Airfix Box style...
