For future bonus figures, would you rather: 1) Have a vignette, a group of figures doing something, like HQ group, casualty station, machine gun group, etc. 2) Individual figures that are unrelated to each other? eg. a doctor, a NCO, an ADC, a casualty, a sniper, etc. Vote here!

Vignette definitely, maybe a group of prisoners, stretcher bearers, close quarter combat, priest leaning over wounded giving last rites, soldier leaning over wounded giving water from canteen etc

Thinking about my involvement with the Prussian Landwehr crowdfund, I'd want individual figures. My major regret is not thinking to ask if a drummer suitable for set 8052 Prussian Reserve Infantry could have been included. If this had been an option think I would chosen this for all 14 of the figures I was entitled to.
The problem is that people are going to order varying amounts of the crowdfunded item, and it's hard to assign the figures in a vignette equitably. I doubt that someone who buys a lot of sets in a crowdfund is going to want two vignette's worth of figures.

Individual figures. I would normally like to have a Sapper or Pioneer since there were few of them and they are normally not included in standard sets.
Best regards,
Malcolm

Individual figures. Means we can all avoid having modelled the exact same vignette.
But I do like the idea. Creative thinking.

I think certain vignette types are better than others, for example a group of soldiers surrendering can be duplicated endlessly, with minor conversion work, while a group of figures in a specific pose, personalities and such may not be suitable to be reproduced in large numbers. Stretcher bearers can also be used in large quantities, I don't mind seeing scenes such like that in many dioramas or that we all use the same type of vignette if the scenes are realistic.

Both good ideas, and I'm sure you could come up with some vignettes that would have me salivating like one of Pavlovs dogs, but my preference would be for individual figures. With the Prussian Landwehr it was a good way of getting needed figures like extra officers and the sapper. It was also a way of getting some figs that could be used in vignettes like the medic or ADC or sapper.
The thing about vignettes is I think part of the fun is finding the available figures to use in them. Maybe taking a totally unrelated figure and changing it to make it be or do what you want. Getting one ready to go straight from the box and painting it is only half the fun.
You would have to think about how a vignette works in terms of how bonus figs are distributed too.
First preference is individual figures but if anyone has a brilliant idea for a vignette I'll consider it.
Edit.
In general terms I think Sappers/pioneers/engineers are a good choice for bonus figures, needed figures but only needed in small numbers.
I also really like personality figures but everyone only wants one of each.

Well it seems the individual figure is leading, only 11 votes cast but..I sort of agree with argument, I want vignette type of poses that can be put into battle scenes without it being too obvious this is vignette from set xxxxx, but I think the vignettes should have sets on their own, such as "Gettysburg fieldhospital" or "Napoleonic fieldhospital" but those kind of sets is not what HäT does usually. If all sets are i the MAC format we will have robot like scenes with marching clones, we still need the old mix format but maybe with more vignette style poses, just my 2 cents.

I voted for individual figures extra Officers, NCO's, Sappers and Flag bearers are always useful for Wargammers particularly when your buying multiple boxes.
Vignettes might be better for diorama makers but you would probably only need one Stretcher Bearer party or one officer sat at a desk being saluted by a ADC, lord knows what I would do with 10 of them open a hospital with people sitting at desks drinking tea?
Vignettes for WW1 or WW2 could work if you had mortar and machine gun teams and other heavy weapons, but for Napoleonic sets individual figures please.

Vignette:
If more than one bonus figure, good that they are complementary subjects, e.g. General Officer and ADC/Staff Officer
Given that, they may as well be posed to make interaction look likely, but it would be good if they also worked as stand-alone poses!

I like the idea of a vignette, but after the first dozen, most seem superfluous.
Individual figures, please.
