I think that is an excellent idea. CBI was one of the hardest campaigns of the war.

I think that the Hat reissue of the Airfix Gurkhas are the closest things you are going to get to a true "14th Army" set, given the large percentage of the Gurkha Line that was sent to the Far East, and more specifically Burma, during WWII. A little over 75% of the total number of Gurkha battalions
Oh, well, I finally completed my British 4th Army just the other day. The last figure just got a pair of skis as a replacement for his base that I cut off. They are now ready to engage in there part in Operation "Fortitude - North" ...

A lot of the West African units can be done with the HäT Airfix re-issue Australians. Paint them a different skin color.
