What are the things you would change with the 1/72 British Dragoon sets?

Have head swaps for the light dragoons and change the final plastic color to grey. They are fantastic looking and I can't wait to get them.

I'm not sure if the Scots Greys fought in Spain, but a set of heads with Bearskins could be added to the Heavy Dragoons figures.
Best regards,
Malcolm

Scots Grey's only action for the whole of the Napoleonic wars was rather famously at Waterloo, one charge , then get chased back to their own lines by French Lancers, and in to immortality.....1st 40th in at the start at the Peninsular, battled all the way to France , so in action constantly 1808-14 , then do the 100 days suffer massive casualties at Waterloo, and hardly ever get a mention :-)

Shako option for the Heavies?
I will use the Lights with a variety of heads as conversions (as well as intended), but I am not sure what particular alternative headgear, if any, would be suitable for the ostensible subject.

Hi Edwardian, I would simply use them as british hussards in field uniform or so called campaign dress. Cheers CPN

Good morning HAT, I would not change anything maybe adding an officer figure like in some other cavalry sets. I prefer them to rapidly reach us. I look forward for all the muskets!
By the way, how many pledges still needed to get to final stage? CPN

I think these sets are one's that do not need too many more extra bits to make them more useful you could add some extra heads to the Light Dragoons but as they do not where the slung Pelisse off the shoulder they are limited, perhaps you could add Prussian covered Shako's to give Prussian Hussars but these can be head swapped from your own Prussian Infantry when restocked, really I think they are fine as they are.
If we are talking of Bonus figures a Mounted officer each of the the Light and Heavy Dragoons that match the troopers in both size and sculpting style would be very welcome.

I think they work as they are but hope attention will eventually turn to equally good British/KGL/Hanoverian hussars. The horses would not need any changes from the light Dragoons set but head swaps may be needed for the 100 days campaign as four Regiments were in Colpac and three in shako (I haven't included the 2nd KGL or the two absent Hanoverian Regiments). Obviously with so much else on Hat's plate these are an ambitious long term aspiration.

Scots Grey's only action for the whole of the Napoleonic wars was rather famously at Waterloo That is correct. They did serve in the flanders campaign of The Revelutionary Wars in 1793. They distinguished themselves by breaking a formed square of French infantry without infantry or artillery support. But I don't know what their uniform looked like in 1793, the uniform of these figs is the 1796 pattern. These sprues look like they have a good number of options and I would be happy with them as they are. Adding a fifth officer figure would be a possible change. officers as bonus figures would also be good but as Brian says matching the sizing would be important.
