Good day dear HaT - and fellow collectors! Yesterday morning I gave my Wurttemberg Jagers the final touch (on their bases)! Great figures that I enjoyed painting every moment! I used different methods for shadowing the green and give it a more realistic worn effect. Resulting in some slight changes in the green which I like and enjoyed doing! Also painting green uniforms was refreshing The figures are of great quality and both sets (command and the soldiers) contain great poses! A few hours later, that exact same day these brave men stood on the battlefield having their baptism of fire! -->> Pictures of the Wargame will follow in the post below! Cheers, Stan

And here as promised! The baptism of Fire of my Napoleonic 1/32 Jagers by HaT! Yesterday my friend and I played a wargame using the relatively simple and fun game rules of ''About Bonaparte''! We played a scenario we already did earlier from an 1809 campaign. This was the battle of Regensburg ( just outside the city). With my French-Confederation of the Rhine army, I faced my Austrian opponent planning an attack that was smashed down, forcing me to fall back on the small village. I was thrilled to play with my newly painted Jagers and also my Saxon troops saw the field of battle for the first time. However, their contribution to the battle was a small part, but I was just happy they made it out alive ;-) @hatblogger, maybe the images of these two posts can replace the images on the 1/32 page on the site? I think these will give a better impression! Feel free to use them for you social media purposes! Enjoy! Warm regards, Stan
