Well even though im interested in Napoleonics (especially Waterloo), i think it only right that the WW2 BEF set gets produced for those interested in that set (and the subject of this thread).
But if more spaces in the production line open up, I would like to ask for:
1 The 1/72 Napoleonic Dutch/Belgian Carabiniers Heavy Cavalry suggested in the past.
2 A really good 1/72 set of 1815 French Foot Artillery.
3 1/72 1815 French Young Guard (in full dress)
4 1/72 1815 French Line Infantry in full dress in action/command (to go with your marching set to create a MAC format).

I would like to make some noise for the B.E.F. Infantry please. When I say noise, please do not think of shouting, the noise level is more akin to dropping a Container ship full of China and Glass onto a Titanic filled with Cymbals.

To be fair this topic is for the British BEF set not for other sets that have threads into on going on elsewhere on this forum, it would be great if we could all stick to the topic instead of bringing other non related matters in to the thread.

Back on the topic of BEF - would you consider putting them in the next batch? In the World at War series IBG is releasing early war British tanks (A9 and A10 cruisers now), but without good supporting infantry, they are not going anywhere.

WaW #11 A9 Cruiser WaW #12 A9 Cruiser CS — due out any day now. An odd choice for a second model, but still useful for gamers. Shame the BEF didn’t issue them with anything except smoke rounds. A 75mm HE shell, even from a stubby little gun, would have been great for Chain of Command. So, yes. C’mon HaT, gi’ oss them BEF squaddies, already!

Hello! Right now focusing on finishing the projects we have before starting next one. DT Totally agree with your sentiment! So many unusual WW1 subjects are in the long grass but as the heading states this is about WW2 British Infantry(BEF) revisited...this needs serious consideration. I feel that this set has a lot of potential but clearly the majority want more Napoleonic subjects. One only has to think of the British/American tank rider, unique to HaT, which have proved to be excellent sellers. Unfortunately at the moment it appears also to have been shunted into the sidings along with the US infantry set. Clearly HaT will stick to Napoleonic sets if they are selling!

Maybe some other manufacturer may be tempted to release BEF infantry you never Know.

About the BEF and the missing bayonnets... i think for most of us, it's easier to cut of a bayonnet, than fix one on the small figures.. so i think all of the figures with enfield rifles should have fixed bayonnets..
And it is the same for most of the figures sets which will come in the future...

Hopefully this set can move up a bit in the the to do list now that new releases are here & I too hope that the next masters have bayonets included.

I would happily take these with or without bayonets, although I would prefer them with bayonets. There is no other production of B.E.F. Infantry (except small run) and you would have the entire market to yourselves.

One can only hope that HaT bits the bullet and produces something a bit different for a change. Upgrading the 4.5" with tyres for early WW2 would be an idea. However I will not hold my breath as the Nappies seem to be the dominate influence!
