Does anyone know what glue to use on this plastic for the WWI US and French 75mm guns? Obviously regular model glue doesn't work, unless the plastic has changed (I bought mine when they first came out). Thanks.

Flexible super glue gel works fine for me both on the older more rubbery and newer stiffer Hät plastic and gave a Very strong joint even on small areas like the tripod feet for the Early French WW1 mgs. I used to pin or weld stuff as a precaution but soon learned it was no longer necesary, in Germany its sold as "Pattex Ultra Gel" (Henkel) but also I believe under the Loctite brand elsewhere and think theres even a Canadian brand selling the same stuff.... Usually I clean up the joints with a wooden toothpick when necesary to give a clean finish.
you can always test a glue by trying to stick a piece of cut sprue from the kit together again, its what I normally do before any new work commences... in this case it proved unbreakable.
Advantages on recent Hät plastics: Effectively unbreakable joint. Non drip doesnt run or fir. Easy clean up.

Thanks. I think I have heard of Loctite. I'll try to hunt some down and try it.
