Could you please clarify, if or if not the most requested ancient sets in your pipeline will be realized or not:
8216 Greek Hoplites*
8321 Pyrrhic Elephants*
8305 Carthaginian Sacred Band*
8222 Sassanid Cataphracts*
8224 Sassanid Elephant*
I even don't asked about 8xxx Byzantines*
I and I think all fans of ancient sets are waiting since a couple of years fro this sets.
Especially would be nice to know if HÄT ever will complete the sassanid range (in time and before my retirement).
As already mentioned in earlier threads: the sets still be announced might prohibit other (more productive)manufacturers for stepping in the area. |

Once the current sets have been realized, the next sets will be looked into. There have been many changes in personnel and there is a lot of interest currently.

but this is the typical and traditional answer always given with no substance.
For me the translation is:
'maybe or maybe not we will think about realization in the future = next decade'
so I'll give up waiting for this sets (even I would like to buy a lot of them)

The Sassanid range was started when I retired a couple of years ago, but remains incomplete. I'd very much like the two remaining sets released before I am too old and infirm to add them to my (incomplete) Sassanid army. With regard new personnel at HaT: Are these figure designers and production staff? Would be fascinating to have an insight into the way that HaT operates and what the various staff members do. |

It includes both. We are currently transitioning to an all CAD approach, which is not without its difficulties but with a lot of benefits, not the least of which is obtaining a more consistent reduction in size from masters to production figures with the help of those on this forum. |

Thank you Forum Admin. This sounds positive, and even though the switch to all-CAD will clearly take some time, let's all hope that longer-term benefits in terms of both figure design (including sizing consistency) and production pay dividends...potentially a win-win all round.

There are no plans to terminate the production of the ancient figures listed by MARTIN_HY. They just need to be put into the queue at some point. The previous issues with some of the ancient ranges had to do with sizing. Hopefully, these issue can be discussed and solved with forum participation here.
