Very nice painting!
Oh how I wish Hat would make these figures in 1/32 scale!
Cheers

Very nice indeed.
Great idea as the Landwehr do not seem to have had a very good track record.
Best wishes,
Chris

While these are labeled “Landwehr” the uniform is more in line with the many volunteer units (Archduke Charles Legion, Moravian Volunteers & Vienna Volunteers) and the sharpshooter companies of Landwehr of 1809 given the pointed cuffs, Corsican hat & short coat.
Would still love them in 1/32!
Cheers

Yeah; the Hat Brunswickers are what I have used for my 1809 Austrian Jagers (and Some Archduke Charles Legion Battalions & Vienna Volunteers). And while I’m fine with the quality of the Hat Brunswickers, the limitations of using a set for so many units, particularly a set with only 4 poses & lacking any command poses, leaves me yearning for the Possibilities of the selection of poses (and bicorn-ed officer) of the Hat 1/72 Landwehr set where available. One can dream. Cheers.

For many of my 1/32 1809 Landwehr units (particularly those from lower & Üpper Austria), I’ve used the A Call To Arms Iron Brigade set. Again suffers from only 4 poses in the set, but with their long coats and upturned hats they are close enough, and provide much needed variation that allows me to differentiate the Landwehr units from the Volunteers and Jagers. Cheers
