I have just received my sampler pack as I did not want to order in bulk in case of size problems like I had with the 1815 French.
I am pleased to say that whilst the box art in my opinion, does Hat no favours, the product does.
Excellent news for my Antietam project and my bulk order is about to be submitted.
I also received the Austrian sample pack.
Very nice indeed but the officer and his ‘pony’ seem to be in a different scale to the other contents.
Weird.
Nice to see Hat back in the ACW action.
Best wishes,
Chris

Slight correction.
Having eagerly taken the troops off the sprue, the mounted officer is tiny compared to his compatriots.
More weirdness although his horse is very nice.

Thank you for the pictures.
Our gallant officer measures 20mm to his forehead, ie the base of his hat.
The private measures 23 mm to the same point.
The horse measures 20 mm to the top of the saddle. The wonderful Napoleonic mounted officer horses are 22mm to the saddle as a comparison.
Whilst acknowledging the seated pose the resulting look seems strange to my eyes.
However, please note that this is an observation not a criticism.
I will use the Napoleonic horses to give him that extra elevation.
Best wishes,
Chris
