Dear Hat, For those of us who have already paid as crowdfunders, (I reserved 4 sets) for the Prussian Landwehr, when are we likely to receive our sets? Thanks a lot Giovanni Varese.

The wait for our beloved Prussian Landwehr seems to be slowing down as we approach the finish line like time is standing still, if this were a football match and your team is 1-0 up after 90 minutes and then the forth official holds up a board showing another 9 minutes to be played What! where did that come from? Oh well a little longer to wait printing boxes now, sprue hopefully going into production and then packing boxes (I don't mind if boxes are delivered flat with sprues I will pack them myself) and posting out to Crowdfunders. Here is the box artwork for anyone who has not seen it.

The answer will be we will let you know when we have any more information. The truth will be someone will see them in the shops & will post here or they will appear on Plastic soldier review. Hat always seems to be last to know when its products will appear in the shops.

Great post Gerd, I really enjoyed seeing those pictures. A very fine turn out from everyone involved and it looks like everyone had a good time. I'd like to go and see the Waterloo weekend for myself one year but I really appreciate it when people post pics of the events that I missed. I'm slowly going to work my way back through your links with a translator. Can't think of a better way to spend the time while I'm waiting for my Landwehr to arrive.

Hello, HaT!
Just a quick question. I know It may be not the right place to ask this, but I have tried to contact you several times this month regarding my order of the Prussian Landwehr, indicating the bonus figures that I had selected and also asking whether you had my shipping address. However, no respone have been received so far, even though my first message was sent like 3 weeks ago. I know you have changed the e-mail, but still it is quite annoying and makes me worry about my prder, whether I will be notified of its shipment or not and where it will be shipped to. Sorry for bothering you.
Cheers

Max. Use the same G-Mail address used when ordering your sets. Here's a link to the crowdfunding page. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the link that says "Indicate here how many marching and action sets you want".( it's just above the paypal link you used to order your sets). The link will take you to the correct G-Mail to leave your message and you should get an e-mail reply confirming your order in a day or so. www.hat.com/Crowd2.html

I have now received an email from HaT inviting me to choose the bonus figures from a set of four. This is very exciting, but I have evidently missed out on the course of developments here, so could some kind soul please explain what each represents?
Left to right are pictured a pioneer, an officer brandishing a sword (presumably a company officer), but then there is another officer who looks like he is holding a little case (a surgeon?), and, finally, an officer with a map.
What specifically do they represent?

They are: Sapper (pioneer), Officer with sword, Medic (Surgeon), and ADC.
They're not more specific than that but yes, the officer with sword looks like a regular company officer and, I think, the ADC could serve as any of the more senior officers.
Just a suggestion but if you've bought a good number of the marching set you might be needing officers.
There was some debate on the HaT forum and other forums regarding the Sapper. Apparently Landwehr battalions didn't have attached sappers or pioneers, they only had blokes with axes who could clear obstacles and construct makeshift defences. You may have to blackball my application to join the button counters club because I can't see the difference. I think it's a good, useful figure and I certainly ordered one.

Very many thanks for this. As a result, I have now made my choice.

I would like to express my gratitude to Delano and all at Hat who very kindly allowed me to have a small sample of the forthcoming Landwehr sets including bonus figures. Here they are in action at the Bois du Loop trying to stop the French advance from Ligny village. url=https://postimg.cc/image/4oiejjiv9/] [/url] Excellent product, thank you again. Chris

These look fabulous! I see some of my favourite poses there and they look really good in the field. Really looking forward to my delivery. Great photo too Chris, excellent composition and positioning of figures. A very close fight framed by the trees and dissolving into the smoke, perfect. It has a real intensity and is super realistic, I think HaT couldn't ask for a better advertisement for this wonderful product.

Apologies if these questions have been already asked but can you answer the following questions so that i am able to put a pre order in with my local supplier.
1 Do you think both the Prussian Landwehr action and marching sets available for general release, will be in the United Kingdom by the end of the year.
2 Are the box quantities listed on your main website going to be correct i.e 56 figures per box.
thank you in advance,
Allan

Hi. That's great news, any time frame guestimate for when they will arrive to those who contributed to the crowdfunding. Thanks very much......while I'm thinking about Prussians have you ever thought of making Prussian Limbers with horse teams as no one makes them in plastic? Rob

I am delighted to hear that "Prussian equipment" may be in the wings.
While this is a huge range, and simply re-stocking it must be a terrific undertaking. Given this, and with so may new sets already in development, I hesitate to suggest another, but Prussian Landwehr cavalry was very numerous in the 1813-15 period, so, just as you cannot really build up Prussian infantry brigades without Landwehr infantry, you really need Landwehr cavalry in order to build up cavalry formations, and HaT has most of the regular cavalry types in the range already.
