A look back at 8099 Russian Militia

The Russian Militia set was another one of those sets which were expanded during the double-set run. The set started off with 7 poses. Another 9 poses were added to make a set with 17 poses (different sculptors and size of master figures) and 25 impressions in the mold.
The 17 figures are:
1 Petersburg Officer
1 Cossack of Nizegorodsk or Pensa Militiaman with pick in flat czapka
2 Cossacks of Nizegorodsk or Pensa Militia [in tall czapkas]
3 Moscov Militiamen
3 Petersburg or Ryazan or Kazan or Tula shooters [in flat caps]
3 Shooters from Moscov or Wladimirsk Militia [in cossack long cap]
4 Petersburg Militiamen
There were a lot of picture resources
And from that and other resources a series of sketches were made.
