The answer will be we will let you know when we have any more information. The truth will be someone will see them in the shops & will post here or they will appear on Plastic soldier review. Hat always seems to be last to know when its products will appear in the shops.

This wouldn't be happening at all if there were more frequent & better targeted re-stocks ,the post that lets people vote for the restocks they want has been active for over five months, Still no official sign or information on what if any of these sets will actually be restocked.

He's put the BUM Spanish Cuirassiers on too. See the posts in this forum. It's not that long since a used box of KGL Cavalry was bid up to £25 when the shops still have them on the shelf. I bought a spare set for the stash at that time for £4.50. So to answer your question, they're worth what someone will pay and we all know sayings about some people and parting money from them. Just to put this to bed the Nassau set went for an amazing £43.69 plus postage I know what I would be doing if I had a spare box.

I am very sad I have lists for everything & I have been comparing the amount of figures in my stash to figures that have actually been painted in total. my stash is just over 12,000 figures at the moment & completely finished just under 3,000 making about a ratio I believe of around 4 unpainted to 1 painted is this usual how do other peoples stashes compare.

You cant blame anybody for selling a rare set for a huge profit, if there's any fault its the manufacturer for not knowing his market & not restocking more often. Hat is the worst culprit for this but its not only the customers losing out but Hat itself. If it is the guy who posts on here its a shame he's not listed the Austrian grenzers, as that set & the Austrian grenadiers are top of my most wanted list & I could maybe be tempted by them.

This is what I like to see an army ready for battle , its what the hobby is about in my opinion a proper army massed ready for the attack or ready to receive an attack. Its not my era but I appreciate the time, planning & patience needed to build an army like this I personally would like to se more units like this from any era but especially Napoleonic armies.

Yes these look really nice can't wait until the Prussians are released they look like being a instant classic set, with hopefully huge profits for Hat so they can hopefully go on to make some more new sets next year Austrians anyone?.

Nice to see Hat release some new figures seems to be a long time since the last lot. The Napoleonic dragoons look really nice I think I might buy a box of each even if they are a bit big, on the plus side they will be easier to paint fine detail on hopefully there may be some Prussians soon marching out from the gloom to save us.

yes great pictures once again nearly missed this as there has been so few postings on the forum recently. I can only echo Graeme in the praise of the room inside the building & the explosion in the last picture, stand out moments in a truly great posting.

Just bought a set of these myself on ebay good price as well, just over a fiver including postage expected to pay over a tenner, been after a box for a year or so now down to about 20 sets on my wish list mostly hat & a couple of revel sets. I know what you mean about the stash I decided to list a few of my least wanted items on ebay & now have blown all the cash & more besides on plastic figures & kits now I have an even bigger stash than when I started, as the mask once said somebody stop me. (that will be the wife when she finds out).

I don't really get the point of leaving a product out of stock indefinitely and then ask the customer base what they'd like to see restocked. If it's out of stock, that's because it sold out. If it sold out, it's popular, so keep printing... If the product took years to run of stock of the initial run, if no further orders accrue from distributors, and if no customers ask for this product, then we won't re-run it. Cheers. Hi the British peninsular infantry was restocked about 18 months ago & sold out in a matter of weeks but still has not being restocked & its a guaranteed big seller also the mac Prussian & French marching sets likewise sold out straight away & haven't been restocked all the Austrian sets most people on this post have asked for haven't been restocked for over two years. The major powers in the Napoleonic will always sell well & should always be kept in stock. Whoever is in charge of the hat restocks ( is there anybody there) wants to take a good look at themselves in the mirror & ask themselves if there in the right job.

Doe this mean your saying that the Austrians are for the crowdfunding or possibly for general production sometime soon .

Sorry to hijack this conversation but apart from the size difference of the Italeri giants there is not a lot wrong with the Austrian sets, Except that there is not a lot of variety available. The hat sets are very good but 3 of them (Grenzers, grenadiers,& landwher are out of stock & have been for years. That leaves the hat infantry set & old Italeri & half an esci sets to cover one of the major players infantry in the Napoleonic wars. Compare these with the amount of British & French sets available & you see the problem we need more Austrians lots more Austrians please.

The question is when will we see them for sale we have been waiting longer than the peninsular war lasted, we want to buy your products, get them out quickly please & the restocks as well you know it makes sense lots of money for Hat & lots of painting for us its a win win situation (Rant over) .

I try to Stick to painting one army at a time but get bored after a while, so I end up painting three different boxes at a time, usually different armies also, to increase variations I try to paint a cavalry set, infantry set & an artillery set. Currently I am painting Hats mounted French chasseurs, HaT Highlanders in attack & Hats Swedish artillery sets. I usually paint 8 infantry figures, 6 mounted figures or 1 gun & crew at a time. Out of interest what is everybody else's painting habits ? .

A great idea you could have sets with the horses stood, then another set walking Then at a canter, no need to provide a charging set as that's what most cavalry sets are already. You could pick some of the most popular sets like Scots greys & French cuirassiers to start with to see if sales make it a viable Project for other sets.

Yes they have been on the internet for a few weeks now but they were planned a long time ago. What about all the Napoleonic sets that the vast majority of people have been waiting years for, the British peninsular infantry the Austrian sets & the mac marching sets & most of all the Nassau infantry some of these have been out of stock for 3 years now. Hat you need to fast track these sets before HaT cotton on & make there own versions & you lose customers forever. Just go to the HaT website its Rocking under the weight of new releases while people on this site have little to talk about except Zulus & Prussians that seem to be stuck on a slow boat from China. You have a lot of loyal customers but our loyalty is being tested as we can not get hold the sets we need from you so we have to shop sadly elsewhere.
