What we need more than anything is reliable and frequent updates. Quality business practice is to keep customers informed, excited and to be responsive.......along with a healthy dose of honesty. Sets like Zulus, British Peninsula, SYW etc are no brainers. A clue is they sell out super fast - aren't available anywhere.....and therefore are popular and in demand. So if the goal is to sell plastic soldiers RESTOCK them. Coca Cola doesn't ask its customers if they like Regular Coke - it sells .....they restock. They may ask would you like Vanilla Coke or Jalapeno Coke and customers can say a resounding yes and no. But regular Coke .... come on. So restock the obvious ASAP. Tell us when we will see them and avoid the extremely annoying "soon" or "next". Provide service and information specifics. Also make your website a functioning tool for your promotion and customer satisfaction. One example don't have a "Specials" link/promotion that hasn't been updated in THREE PLUS YEARS. Run a special.....something......or drop the link. It's like running a restaurant with a permanent out of order sign on the soda fountain. We love HAT, but it's gotta be more responsive, CLEAR in its information dissemination and take advantage of the OBVIOUS needs/wants of its customers. I totally agree with everything said here there is a lot of people waiting for a few sets looking at the posts on this topic, getting these items back in stock must a priority for hat if it is to keep its loyal customers happy, the next on the list is to get some new product out the Prussians & Zulus sets. The competition (HaT) have released around twenty yes twenty new sets this year & previewed many more Including a set of what looks like Prussian landwher marching set If they manage to release this before Hats imagine how that will hit sales. Hat have lots of customers ready to buy some restocks as soon as they release them take advantage of this quickly before the competition beat you to it

In the rows of my prussian Infantry it is rumored that the Landwehr is coming soon as reinforcment. But where are they ?? Still marching the long way from China to Europe ?? Yes seems to take a long time to get here & nearly as long for restocks.
The soldiers marching from the Ukraine seem to be able to march at a much faster rate, though to be fair it is a bit nearer.

Sorry but I thought the idea of this post was that people voted for the restocks that they wanted, & Hat would add the most popular ones to a restock list that would be rushed out making everybody happy & Hat lots of money. The most popular sets voted for seem to be mostly Napoleonic sets like Peninsular British infantry, Austrian Grenadiers, Grenzers & Prussian & French Napoleonic marching set which sound good to me so the restocks I am asking about are the ones we are voting for on this post thanks ..... Hi Hat this post has been up for over 3 months now, have you any idea when these figures will be restocked, a rough idea will do is it going to be weeks, months or years If it was me I would make this a priority because you have a lot of people wanting the same sets if you restocked them I think most would sell out straight away, it a low risk almost guaranteed money maker.

Yes great looking figures its about time these were available to buy I, too would like to see a size comparison even with the peninsular British infantry. Hat are not alone in having size issues the prolific HaT recently made some giant Japanese figures & passed them off as 1/72 scale.

Nicely painted figures excellent horses well based what is there not to like. I think I might buy a box of these despite the size issue. Hope I can do as good a job on them as this regards Steve

It's the anniversary of the battle of Waterloo today has anyone been to remember or even celebrate the battle. I went to the 200th anniversary a couple of years ago, the French & Allied camps were really good as were the museums. But as soon as the reenactment began we couldn't see a thing for all the smoke from the cannon fire still a great day though. ....Steve

Hi Ironsides my post was about the E28B more restocks not the E28R restocks there are two sets of restocks on the main HAT page that's why I started a new thread I thought E28B might be connected to the restocks vote taking place on this forum ....Steve

Yes lets face it Hat have produced a lot of great sets over the years & very few really bad sets. I originally chose British peninsular infantry. But in truth it could have been the Nassau infantry, marching Napoleonic Prussians or quite a few more brilliant sets, but I am struggling to find any really bad sets apart from the Serbian infantry & long may it produce more great sets in the future. Perhaps I should have asked for your favourite & least favourite sets to be fair to Hat & make it easier for everybody ..... Steve .

These highlanders look a nasty set of characters, great angry faces I would not like to meet this lot on a dark night . These look just as highlanders should mean & cruel mine always seem to look like girly dolls going for a walk in the park. ....Steve

What are the best sets from hat over the years, & their worst in your opinion.I nominate the peninsular British infantry & command set as the best, & the Serbian infantry inherited from Coates & shine as the worst by far. I will be interesting what everybody thinks. ........Steve

Yes i think we are all disappointed with with recent events at hat, but I think they are showing us, every aspect of figure production including mistake.s along the way I find it quite refreshing that they open up & show us the pitfalls along the way but I agree hat needs to make sure thee next releases are 100% correct and to scale. But realistically how many bad sets have hat made over the years not many out of the hundreds produced....... Steve

Hi gbvarese
Yes there is a shortage of good Austrian sets most of the best sets are made by hat & seem to be unavailable I am hoping another manufacturer beginning with S might soon make a couple of sets in marching & advance poses in the near future & we may well seethe mooted Hat set on crowd funding one day.
